The good and the bad...

Pros

-Flexible Work Schedule (If you really need it) -Respectable Pay -Good people in some management positions that will look out for you. (SOME NOT ALL) -Typically good teams to work with in most areas across the country

Cons

-Recently purchased by Steris -New Steris leadership seems more interested in profits than sound business practices -Corporate structure has lost focus on customer needs and is more focused on draining dollars out of customers for no reason -Slow product development (Who does not have this problem?)

Non competitive sweat shop wages combined with bully tactics from management

Pros

Decent hard working people on the production staff provide the atmosphere of an acceptable working environment.

Cons

The wages and insurance are absolutely horrible and provide very little in the way of a living standard. Management staff engages in bullying of staff to get higher production numbers and often threaten termination.

Fine if you don't mind kissing up to the "Good Old Boys"

Pros

Pretty good product and turnaround time. Some good people. Good stepping stone into better medical or pharmaceutical sales jobs. Can be a great job if you "inherit" a great territory or if you aren't blocked from sales by contracts.

Cons

Ummm... chewing tobacco and spitting by interviewers!... I guess that's okay for amusement! There are a couple of people at the top who are controversial figures... "bad boys" per se... they continue where they are because they are part of the Good Old Boys". Territory management and changes are not always based on performance, but sometimes on convenience and other prejudicial factors. Management changes keep you from receiving needed support.
