      Shooting themselves in the foot due to complete lack of internal investment, especially in key employees

      1. Excellent work-life balance with ability to work from home and flexible hours 2. Good people to work with who have excellent upside career potential

      Cons

      1. Terrible pay 2. Very little communication 3. Internal advancement/promotion is very difficult 4. Complete lack of internal investment (technology and people) 5. Controlled by their customer demands (i.e., giving too much away for free and customizing everything) 6. Upper management, although they have an open-door policy, does not truly listen to employee ideas 7. Little loyalty to long-time employees

      A Dismal Disaster waiting to happen

      Pros

      + Eagerness of engineers, and support engineers to do better. + Research & Developmental Ideas from a select few engineers. + Encouraging Direct Managers

      Cons

      -poor work environment -lack of team communications -misuse of technology -dis allocation of funding for un necessary expenditures -Too many meetings spanning entire days -Too much planning, with little time to work -Too many people have mediating jobs instead of actual jobs. -You don't get awarded unless senior management knows of your existence. Which is an issue because senior management only listens to a select few, and knows little about what is actually going on in the company, let alone know about the technology that is being developed.

      Pros

      Good mix of personalities and lots of technical talent. Seems like management does want their staff to grow with them. Lots of functions to let their staff unwind.

      Cons

      Management always seemed unsure of the direction to take the company in. The company is smaller in scale so decisions were made re-actively instead of proactively. Infrastructure was still small company minded but slowly getting better.
