Pros

The Pay is absolutely some of the best that you will ever see. Straight up. If that's what's important to you then this is the place for you. Also, the work you put in truly feels like you're doing something and you're not a mindless drone in the machine, and on top of that management truly makes you feel welcome and valuable. Jaimie specifically is awesome and I couldn't speak enough to her excellent handling of the Tampa office. Leland also is fantastic, and always willing to help. All and all I've enjoyed my time here and I genuinely plan on making a career here.

Cons

It is extremely stressful at times, but the office environment and culture make up for it. You will have to be available 24/7, but that's the nature of the business.

Pros

Decent base salary for not having industry experience or education.

Cons

Freight brokers are a dime a dozen - so remember that is how both customers and coworkers will regard you, management will spy on you, and above all: this is a short-term gig, and not a long term career with this company. If you bear that in mind, you won’t be in for any shock.

Pros

Relaxed dress code. If you are making money, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Show up whenever, leave whenever. Management is pretty hands off.

Cons

The office environment is full of “bros”. If you are a female, gross things will be said behind your back. The job itself is pretty stressful. It’s not uncommon to hear a broker screaming and cursing at a carrier through the phone. No real sales training other than an overview of the market. They pretty much recruit a bunch of people that are new to the industry and see what sticks. Most new employees only have a vague idea what they are getting into.
