Cons

Lately understaffed technicians Not the best in terms of growth; as a tech theres 4 grades, can take 15 odd years to climb, next step GL > AM > DM. much longer and wider gap compared to smaller companies

We used to reliably get bonuses. We used to have a decent recognition program. Decent hourly wages. Good work life balance. Most OMs are kind and work with their teammates well.

Cons

I went through 8 managers in 3 years. Lack of training structure. Waaay too many hands in the cookie jar when it comes to communication. I had roughly 15 Teams chats to monitor throughout an average day. No job stability. 4 layoff windows in the last year…

Time off and compressed work-week schedule.

Cons

Intel has been getting rid of everything that made working for them attractive. Workers have no say or leverage with too many H1-B visa workers can't get a Union because visa workers won't risk. Layoffs 2,400, 1,800 H1-B 2025 visas....that is just replacing US workers.
