This year, the company introduced a forced ranking system where at least 10% of employees have to get a negative performance review. They also added a vague "attitude" criterion, which makes it easy to justify a bad rating without any real evidence. The result is exactly what you'd expect: backstabbing, manager favoritism, finger-pointing, and unhealthy competition, as everyone tries to make sure someone else ends up in the bottom group. Hard to call this a great place to work. On top of that, the company has layoffs almost every summer, so it's difficult to feel secure or even enjoy your vacation.
