Pros
- Some of the tech can be fun to work with. - Benefits are good, pension, healthcare etc.
Cons
- Poor decision making from senior leadership by taking on clients & projects that delivery teams can't possibly handle in the timelimes given. Many people are demoralised, burnt out and having to work overtime. Staff are rarely acknowledged for the effort they put in. - No ownership across the board and many people seem unwilling to help. - We've had a few employee surveys, they're discussed shortly in a monthly call but nothing really seems to change. - Poor developer experience, even the smallest of changes take a lot of effort to deliver. There are things in the works to improve this apparently.
