      Pros

      - Market leading Product - Forward looking company thats striving to always improve, develop and build the best partner relations and has superb relationships within the Financial Services Sector - Great for Social Activities, theres a committee devoted to it doing things like Charity events, cake baking contests, teambuilding events - In house progression and personal development is always available, we are rapidly growing and staff are encouraged to progress internally, including undergraduates who are looking for their first opportunity in the workplace - We've become a much larger organisation already but there is still a very friendly feel and its the type of place where you can actively speak to senior management and get access to them which is a huge benefit.

      Cons

      - Pace of change can be pretty rapid and lots of work going on to develop the system which takes time. This is very minor as theres a clear roadmap for development and it can rely on 3rd parties to do their bit - Nothing I can think of otherwise - a great place to work

      Strong tech team and latest technologies used Very communicable and talented Architecture team (Stuart Cullinan (head of AT), I learned a lot from you) Friendly management and CTO especially Every started project has good documentation (thanks to BA team) Dev team always glad to help newcomers

      Great review - thank you. Very pleased to hear about the friendly CTO :). Quantifying and then prioritising technical debt is a difficult problem to solve, we believe that there is a balance between new product creation, innovation and repaying technical debt, we are some way down the path where we now find technical debt on the product roadmaps and within the sphere of influence of the product teams. Engineers are empowered to help shape the backlog and we strongly advocate that improvements are taken in to each time box. In addition to this we have a data cube with significant amounts of machine data, ideally over the course of 2017 we will have very detailed data driven conversations at product level that help guide our decisions on where best to apply efforts, overall our application has low levels of technical debt but fully accept there is always room for improvement.
