Pros

They provide decent paying jobs in rural North American communities.

Cons

High turnover in IT. The salary attracts some to hold positions long enough to move on to a longer term position with better benefits. The bonus rarely paid out, so it's a wishing well more than a perk. Senior leadership consist of no IT professionals. They are often paralyzed with indecision because they just don't know tech.

Pros

Decent benefits Culture of promoting from within Culture of growth and openness to ideas

Cons

The industry is subject to many up's and down's, which means a fari amount of volatility. When times are good, the company is willing to spend money on things that will help everyone succeed more. However, when times are bad, the spending completely stops, we lose people, moral is low, and workloads increase.
