Patient billing was my field, and it is emotionally taxing. Hard to listen to people who are sick or have a sick loved one all day everyday. The other downside, it's pretty much impossible to get hired. Unless you know someone in the company who can refer you, you have little chance. It's a secret about most healthcare jobs.

Little opportunity for growth and development. Plenty of managers in positions above their abilities. Nepotism and politics run rampant for the rare advancement opportunities that occur. No reward for extraordinary performance.
