Pros

Nice facilities, aggressive growth, good people to work with. The staff is very competent and friendly and everybody is helpful to each other. Pretty good collaboration between different professions in practice.

Cons

Management does not treat professionals like professionals. Decisions tend to be from the top down and financially this employer takes advantage of its size to pay wages below state and national norms. In pharmacy practice, there is a tendency to have unworkable solutions to problems handed down from management rather than collaborating with people in the field to find a workable solution. Financial resources are too focuse on building new hospitals and not enough on keeping current practice standards up to date in existing facilities.

Pros

a large monopoly that crushes all competitors will never go out of business, especially in the healthcare field.

Cons

There is a rule or procedure for EVERYTHING. If there is a possibility of something happening, there will be an official policy or procedure for dealing with it.
