Pros

-Many of the field team members are extremely skilled and highly capacitated, care about the mission, and achieve amazing results.

Cons

-The Middle East region is beset by bullying and discrimination that stems from the RVP.

Pros

- Mission driven - Great exposure - Huge organization, so there's a lot to learn from on the job - One of the top INGOs to work for if you're into policy/advocacy -Pays slighter better than other NGOs/INGOs (at least in the US)

Cons

- Poor internal systems/controls (HR, L&D) - Organizational vision can be shifty in terms of what kind of NGO the IRC would like to look like - Despite it being a huge organization, there's not that much room for mobility internally, opportunities for L&D besides from on-the-job learning
