Working with a International Organization based in NY. Working structure is very stable so in this case you could work.

Cons

National staff's allowances are very limited, if you compare with manager level, same work load but less money to officer/assistant

There are no cons for work at irc except foe when there is no fund so the project stops and you go back home.
