Pros

Appreciate their mission and work

Cons

HR reached out to confirm if I have work authorization in one of the listed locations for the role, I immediately responded with Yes and sharing which country, they never responded back. I even followed up.

Pros

The staff, for the most part, is full of well Intentioned and kind folks. Locally-everyone is lovely. The work is meaningful. There are a lot of training opportunities and teamwork. Overall I've found working locally to be very ethical and my team is amazing.

Cons

The disconnect between the national and local branches is strange and confusing. So many barriers are put in your way to doing your job, that you need a thick skin and a lot of persistence and scrappiness to keep going. Overly complicated systems inhibit work, and the layoffs are demoralizing. The industry is just a hard one.
