Pros

Pros are direct colleagues, the program staff who care deeply about their work, and getting to know our clients. The IRC is full of incredible people who are committed beyond just their jobs to making the world a more welcoming place for refugees. They made it worth it.

Cons

Horrible leadership, zero communication, impossible to get a promotion, few support resources, culture of secrecy, constantly increasing workload, global organization so there is always someone online who needs something due to timezones.

Good benefits and pay (depending on your department). Good people and mission.

Cons

They cut 10% of our staff after already not backfilling roles. Google it.
