Pros

IRC hires a fantastic group of people and provides employees with extremely rewarding work. Every hour you spend working here is benefiting someone else less fortunate.

Cons

The pay is abysmally low. It's unfortunate because it's a great company to work for, but you just can't sustain yourself financially at the current salary.

Pros

People are passionate about their work. The mission drives everything. No question of need. Warm, friendly, fun teams. Great variety of work and locations.

Cons

Low salaries. Generally weak management. Bare bones spending on internal infrastructure like IT (which is a pro in that money goes to programs, but it can make day-to-day work challenging).
