Good and solid organization to learn on planning, stress management, goal setting and compliance. If you excel you can get rewarded very well. You can also learn other stuff and move laterally and if achieve things and make the right contacts you can move laterally or up.

Cons

Stress and long hours can be overwhelming for some people.

I had a great opportunity to work for Navistar over the summer remotely as an intern. I worked as part of the controls and software team, as I was studying electrical engineering. I got put on a very interesting task and participated in lots of team reviews and really felt like I was doing good work. I was offered a full time position but ended up declining it for a different opportunity.

Cons

The beginning was boring as I had no real tasks while first starting, but I think this is probably pretty normal. Much of the team took a vacation while I was there and I was left essentially alone for a week working on my project, which made it difficult if I had questions.
