      Pros

      Great place for task-oriented people who carry low expectations and lack ambition, and people who live outside the city limits.

      Cons

      No product innovation. Bad financial state. Shareholder activism. Dubious GM retirees as executives. Top heavy organization. Incompetent middle managers lacking basic problem solving skills. Old school thinking and actions. Political silos. No opportunities to grow and develop in the good'ol boys' network. Low quality and overworked employees. Poor morale, below industry salaries, and dwindling benefits.

      Great people and a leadership team that really wants to turn the company around

      Pros

      The people are great and I have always been treated and compensated very fairly. While the company has had a rough few years financially, that has provided additional opportunities for employees who have stuck around, and I have learned more in 2 years than I would have learned anywhere else.

      Cons

      Variable pay (bonuses/raises) cannot be counted on, and the constant threat of layoffs makes it a challenging environment, especially as the employees left deal with more work and fewer resources.
