• Friendly and helpful coworkers • Work is pretty routine on a day-to-day basis, so you can kind of adapt to the environment after a relatively short while • You will learn the ways of troubleshooting lab equipment, whether you want to or not • Pay is decent with shift allowance and OT • AWS and Bonuses • Medical insurance • Job security
Cons
• High workload • Low basic pay • Required to take on other tasks, like packing of samples and solvent preparation, even with the high workload • Alternating Saturdays (half days) • Minimal food options available on-site • No paid sick leave till the end of probation, even if you happen to catch COVID
