Pros

Consistent work with decent pay and management that is willing to work with you. Work truck with a gas card. After a certain amount of time, you can take your truck home if you wish.

Cons

The hours can be very long with a lot of downtime which for some is not a problem.

Pros

In my experience, they readily hire people without prior experience in the TIC field and provide time to learn. The management is overall very friendly and helpful.

Cons

The pay is not competitive with the competition. This has led to many experienced engineers leaving within 2 to 5 years. This makes it difficult for new people to learn where they are making mistakes. The engineer churn leads to experienced engineers being expected to train several new people, while maintaining a full project schedule. This has led to burn out. There is a focus on revenue that often causes projects to be rushed. It can be difficult to get the time you need to review a complicated product, as the clients expect a quick turnaround and sales is often reluctant to issue a requote.
