Pros

Smart engineers, nice campus, interesting problems

Cons

VERY hard to get promoted, even with multiple lateral moves. no organic growth means limited opportunities They embrace a model of laying off 10% of the staff every year. What this means is that the constant threat of layoffs creates a toxic culture where no one helps anyone else. Lying and deliberate sabotage are not uncommon.

Pros

Awesome opportunities to grow amongst supportive teams. Despite being around for more than 3 decades, Intuit feels like a young company. Awesome benefits, pay, and job security.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind.
