Pros

Consistently voted as one of Forbes magazine's Top 100 Places to Work Good compensation, great benefits Great work environment (in most business units) Smart, passionate people

Cons

Your experience at Intuit is heavily dependent on the group and/or manager you work for. Constant lay-offs and re-orgs make it difficult for you to have control what group you're in or who you report to. Intuit consistently lays people off every year and the layoffs are not done by performance, so if you're one of the top performers you could be laid off and if you're one of the worst performers you could stay. After the layoffs, the numbers of workers are cut dramatically but the work load remains the same, so everyone left is tasked with taking on the extra work.

A sinking ship

Pros

You get to work with some great people, however many are leaving as the workplace culture has become terribly toxic because of leadership.

Cons

The leaders of this company are fundamentally dishonest, and quite frankly, clueless how to run a technology company. Before the Inuit acquisition, this was a decent place to work. However, the company has had a sharp decline since the fall. The culture is in shambles, leaders are completely absent, nothing is getting done, there is little direction and overall it feels like we're just bailing water. I expect to see a large wave of resignations in the coming months.

Pros

Intuit is Tier 2 Company that acts as if it is Tier 1. Top management does good talking without action.

Cons

- Untrained Managers. - Interview process has no connection to work - They are stuck in age old thinking of Old vs New. - Lot of old timers make your life difficult - Too much politics
