Pros

good prospects. good benefits, great people . Was one of the greatest place to work.

Cons

Intuits HR policy prevent any H1B Visa holder to apply for a GC in the EB2 category", even if you have a US masters degree and more than 5 Years of Experience. None of the Engg / QA / Sys admin positions will qualify for EB2 category. The only exception is a "staff software engineer" position. I dismissed it thinking that it is mendacious propaganda by dissatisfied employees. However, recently I got a call for an interview, I cleared the first round and was invited for an onsite interview. I wanted to clarify if this new immigration policy has any verity at all ? I emailed the HR contact ( don't want to name-call in a public forum ), and stated that I have heard about this change in policy and if that is correct would like to withdraw from the interview process, hence being respectful of the time of 5 Interviewers. Its been 2 months and I am yet to receive a clarification on that. This incident gave credence to the ludicrous policy adopted by the company, indeed it is true. Then news started dropping in from everywhere about new recruits being hoodwinked into believing that their GC will be processed in the EB2 category. The company recruiters have even gone to the extent of blatant lying, by purposefully refraining from discussing about this policy when talking to the recruits about their GC processing. No information is shared until explicitly asked. Recently, a recruiter extended an offer letter to a prospective hire with the assurance that GC will be filed in EB2 for a engg position. This person enquired about the company from employees and finally after learning about this policy, rejected the offer in time. - Was this comment helpful? Yes / No

Pros

Great benefits once a permanent Employee, 401 K, Stock purchase plan, Gym, site social events and the company is renovating the campus to make everything young, fresh, new.and high tech. There are great and interesting people throughout the company and our campus is right next door to Google's campus. There's a great outdoors feel with bikes provided on campus and we are right next to the bay trail where many people go for nice long walks around the lake.

Cons

The Cons I have are not for the company as a whole but more particular to my department. There is a lack of Leadership, communication and Employee (Contractors) morale. The company as a whole is great and getting better every year. i would say one Con about the company is the high number of contract workers. The company is hiring but many departments are rotating contract workers year after year but not hiring so much. There's high turnover among contractors so it feels a little unstable.

Pros

Intuit has the most open communication with employes that I've seen so far. As a company, Intuit listens to employees and also responds to them positively.

Cons

Not many downsides to working at Intuit. As with any corporation, you still get some politics to deal with, but nothing out of the ordinary.
