Pros

Work-life balance Caring, competent, and energizing people Interesting work Great mission

Cons

Things have really gone downhill since the new CEO stepped in. Politics drives everything now: layoffs, promotions, and decisions. It's pathetic. Intuit is not going to grow if we keep acting this way. So, why don't I leave? I'm hopeful that things will get better, as Intuit was a fantastic place to work for many years. But, I'll only give it 6 months or so to prove itself. Turnover has still been low - I'm guessing that most people are like me... they are waiting to see what happens in the next little while, but will jump ship soon. That'll be interesting.

Pros

People, Industry Leader, Customer Focus.

Cons

Can be a challenge learning all moving parts and understanding where we are going as a whole company. Leadership has been doing a good job increasing communication in this area.

Pros

Benefits were good. On site cafe was nice to have. Plano campus was nice until the ping pong table showed up and took over the exercise room.

Cons

Senior management is known to read the latest management book and then implement the action items. Every month seems to be a new book out, which changes the business plan every other month. The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) talks about communication but never seems to communicate anything other than the latest plan. Dedicated employees are completely pushed aside through downsized. If you try to apply for another position that you are qualified for you are not given a chance to interview because they "already have someone in mind".
