Pros

cares about it's customers and employees nice company - everbody is nice to each other more or less

Cons

slow in change; rested on its laurels of being a past dominant financial software company, now the little guys are started to catch up and has started to eat away at some of Intuit's customer share

Pros

stable company; only death and taxes are certain in life right? If you have a family and need a 8-5 stable job, then Intuit is perfect for you.

Cons

not that good for ambitious or star engineers. Achieving above and beyond won't get you recognized or compensated accordingly; everyone pretty much gets the same raises/bonus. Big variance in the quality of the engineers (there are some very good engineers but also some very bad ones). Lack of career growth for engineers. Management seems to be always following the crowd in terms of direction/technological disruptions; lack of vision; quite a lot of waste.
