Pros

As a Business Operations Manager at Intuitive, I have had a rewarding experience working with a team dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative technology. The company is at the forefront of robotic surgery. The company also invests in employee growth with training programs and opportunities for advancement.

Cons

The demand for innovation can lead to a fast paced environment and some departments may experience resource constraints, which may feel overwhelming.

Pros

Great place to work: The company culture is collaborative, supportive, and inclusive, making it an absolute pleasure to come to work every day. Effective business plan: Our leadership has a clear vision, and we have a well-structured plan in place to achieve our goals. This clarity of direction makes it easy for me to prioritize my work and contribute to the company's success. Meaningful work: What I love most about my job is the direct impact it has on patient outcomes. Knowing that my work is helping to improve people's lives is incredibly fulfilling and motivates me to strive for excellence every day. Growth opportunities: Intuitive Surgical offers numerous opportunities for professional growth and development, whether it's through training programs, mentorship, or taking on new challenges. I've been able to expand my skill set and advance my career in a relatively short period.

Cons

Processes and procedures: Like any large organization, we have our share of bureaucracy and processes that can sometimes slow us down. While these procedures are in place for good reasons, they can occasionally feel like "sand in the gears." Room for improvement: However, I'm heartened to see that our management team is actively listening to feedback and working to streamline our processes. It's clear that they're committed to continuous improvement and making our work more efficient.

Pros

Amazing mission and technology. Rewarding but Hard work, long hours, unpredictable schedule. Have to learn work life “dance” because there is no balance.

Cons

Ugly history of culture and lack of diversity, customers still remember and see glimpses of it from time to time depending on geography
