      Pros

      I've been with this company since the total number of employees was 200. Today, there are over 800 employees, and it is exciting to be a part of this exponential growth. Knowing that the products we manufacture directly impact patients' lives in a significant way (I don't think "life-saving" is too dramatic of a word) is hugely gratifiying. Level of respect & communication shown to all employees is consistent, regardless of position held.

      Cons

      Honestly, the only downside I can think off is that Intuitive Surgical does not currently offer a matching 401K plan to participating employees.

      Pros

      Healthcare cost, stock benefits. Competitive salary

      Cons

      Company doesn't understand boundaries between personal time and work time. You're expected to be available at all times of the day and night. They just drop more and more work on you and expect it all to be done quickly. It's not uncommon for coworkers to cancel vacations due to so much work expected to be completed by a certain date or they bring their laptops on vacation so they can continue working.
