Pros

The people there are awesome. They try so many things to keep the moral high and you build such strong friendships. Free coffee/tea/pop is a nice bonus. Free health benefits. Good amount of vacation/sick time. Clean and modern office building. Personalized work areas - not just a plain cubicle.

Cons

The position is way too stressful for a certain type of person. During the busy months the need to stay on the phones and get call after call can make one go mental. High stress situations involving death, incorrect trades, fixing other's mistakes, research and follow up being needed for complex situations. Grading and having your calls listened to and discussed. You feel like you're constantly under a microscope. Lowest salary for the type of industry. As far as I know, you start at $28,500. That sounded great (considering the pros i mentioned above) until you start doing the job. I understand why many people leave.

Pros

Company pick up n drop, good work life balance

Cons

Micro Management,Lot of resistance to new ideas/change esp.in the SOX team, Manager doesn't standby the work the team member does instead makes claims baselessly, small issues are given too much importance that the main purpose/essence of the work is not given focus, higher management doesn't support the employee when there is an issue but supports micro management and onshore team. Expectations are not communicated clearly though enquired. Totally unsatisfied with the experience and strongly don't recommend you to join the SOX team at Invesco. Growth is very slow. Not satisfied with the SOX Model.
