Very Very Bad place to work

Pros

I didn't find anything advantageous working in Invesco.

Cons

People(Management and co-workers) dont bother about employees concern. There is no much work but you will be highly paid. There is no respect for employees opinion. Offshore managers give a different image about the off shore team and their concerns and their work. On shore people(most of them being managers) want their off shore team to complete complex tasks in less time and your team lead will only communicate this to you, no help given to you. When the task isn't completed it's total blame game. The person who took up task at the end of the day feels as though he is fit for nothing. You are not given the work you like to do. You will be forced to do things which you are not interested. Basically it's a place where there is nothing much happening related to technology.

Pros

Flexible timings and facility to work from home

Cons

They always talk about meritocracy. But this is not the place for the talented. In most of the cases you work under global managers. But your fate will be decided by the local managers who even does not know what you are working on. As long as you obey and salute them you will be promoted and rewarded. Some leads even does not have basic knowledge of what they are working. This is the place for persons who want to relax and enjoy the facilities (Gim, indoor sports, free snacks etc.,) It is not the place for learning new technologies.
