The management here from top to bottom is terrible. Stay vigilant because they will gaslight you. They are obviously only acting in favor of whatever the executive team wants. They are absolutely not there to help their reports. Unless you get lucky with the rare, caring manager or are surrounded with quality senior coworkers, do not expect your career growth to be supported. Executive team has no idea what is going on on the lab floor. They make decisions that are clearly driven by finances, without any regard for how it affects the science, and thus patient samples. Then when assays are inevitably affected, they point the blame at lab staff. However, they love to preach that the company motto is “all about the patients” when they are lecturing you about how you need to contribute more to the company (even though you already are). Extremely shady business practices towards its own employees. The production engineer team is overworked and spread thin, yet nothing meaningful has been done to help make that better for the team. Management loves to point fingers at the workers as to why things are going wrong, when in fact the flawed systems that have been in place for way too long and they refuse improve on are the reasons why. They are not willing to invest in improving these systems. Above all, they are not willing to listen and take into consideration the experience of their own employees.
