Private Equity Stripping the Place for Parts - Avoid!

Pros

There’s technically “unlimited” PTO, but don’t expect to take a day off without getting bombarded with emails and texts anyway lol

Cons

- Management is directionless, condescending and constantly dismisses valid employee concerns - Unreasonable workload on top of under-market pay means everyone is constantly stressed out and overworked - Vista is gutting the place and outsourcing everything they can to a “satellite office” in India - C suite is totally out of touch, employees are rightfully concerned about the future of their jobs and don’t see a future here since internal promotions and raises are suddenly exceedingly uncommon, while they get on meetings joking about getting AI to write their emails and bragging about their new boat, vacation home, etc. Embarrassing and insulting behavior - There is a notably hostile environment within HR that spreads outwards to other departments

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we understand that everyone’s experience is different, this feedback does not reflect the reality for many of our employees. It’s important to note that the company has evolved significantly since your time here three years ago. We remain committed to fostering a positive and productive work environment and take all input seriously as we continue to grow. Change can be challenging, but we stand by our strategic decisions as essential for the long-term success of both the business and our teams. We continue to invest in our employees, refine our processes, and create opportunities for career growth. Competitive compensation, employee well-being, and internal development remain key priorities, and we encourage open, constructive conversations to address concerns. We also recognize the dedication of our leadership and HR teams, who work hard to support employees and drive the company forward. We appreciate your contributions during your time here and invite anyone who has questions about the company today to reach out, as we remain committed to providing transparency about the positive outlook ahead.

The next Boeing

Pros

The pros of invoice cloud may seem phenomenal at first, but they’re overshadowed by the cons. FTO (but you are actually limited to 4 weeks. The FTO is just pretend to draw in Employees and say they have it) 401K Health/Dental/Vision Remote Jobs for some

Cons

The most effective way to articulate the Cons is just a long list instead of the novel I could write. 1. The new leadership that invoice cloud boasts about hiring post Vista acquisition has no idea what we do or how we do it. They also lack industry knowledge and think Fintech works exactly like their previous companies. All industries are not the same. 2. IC is offshoring so much of the work “productivity” will skyrocket over the next year, but quality issues will ultimately be a huge issue (ask Boeing how their offshore work went). 3. Don’t even dream of a leadership role. IC will make up “promotions” so you feel like you are advancing but they will hire from outside the company before they will ever consider you for an actual leadership role. 4. New leaders will fail to acknowledge their own failures. Everything is about how they “look” to the board. 5. There are ZERO long term incentives. The goal is simple. Make as much money for IC as possible with as little consideration for employees as possible. 6. Pay is well below industry averages. Once you’re hired on do not expect Invoice Cloud to even keep you up with inflation rates. It will not happen. 7. Executive Leadership cut all new year kick off meetings, end of year meetings, holiday parties etc but only for employees. Executive leadership still has all of these things as well as quarterly meetings together. 8. The DEI is ridiculous. There are constant emails and slack messages about supporting this group or that group, making the environment uncomfortable for many and uninclusive of the majority. The list could continue but for the sake of people trying to read I will stop.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We take all employee perspectives seriously and it’s unfortunate to hear that your experience hasn’t met expectations. Our goal is to foster an environment where employees feel valued, heard, and supported, which is why we conduct quarterly pulse surveys and encourage transparent, anonymous feedback. Our most recent survey showed that 76% of employees believe InvoiceCloud is moving in the right direction and that their work is meaningful. While this is encouraging, we recognize that every experience is unique, and we remain committed to ensuring all employees feel supported. At InvoiceCloud, we continuously refine our policies to align with industry standards and employee needs. We are transparent about our base compensation ranges, which we regularly review to ensure they remain competitive. We also offer opportunities for performance bonuses and annual promotions, and we’re proud that nearly 50 employees earned promotions last year, with 30 more already promoted since January 1st. Career development is another area we invest in, providing tuition reimbursement and specialized training to support professional growth. A strong emphasis is also placed on work-life balance and employee well-being. Our Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy is designed to provide true flexibility while ensuring business continuity, and we actively encourage employees to take advantage of additional well-being days and holidays including summer Fridays, and the Gift of Time—full time off from December 25th to January 1st. We value diverse industry expertise and believe in a balanced approach to leadership development—promoting from within while also bringing in external perspectives to drive innovation. Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives are core to our culture, aimed at fostering a workplace where all employees feel welcome and included. We understand that every workplace has areas to improve, and we genuinely want to hear from our employees to address concerns. If you’d be open to it, we’d love the opportunity to connect—whether with leadership, HR, or someone you feel comfortable with—so we can learn more and work toward a better experience for everyone.
