Pros

Some managers are nice about working from home, central London office good location.

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. The company has a very unusual and toxic culture in which skipping breaks and working overtime is expected. Despite the workload, compensation is significantly below average for the industry and very poor for London. Senior staff are a major concern. While some managers are supportive, many of the “directors” are underqualified in research and can be rude, demanding, and difficult to work with. I witnessed what I believed to be serious research integrity concerns and instances of workplace harassment. There are also many convoluted processes and layers of bureaucracy that make work unnecessarily inefficient. Automation and AI are not embraced, with some senior employees showing reluctance to adopt new technologies or limited understanding of them. As a result, tasks that could be streamlined or automated often remain unnecessarily manual, adding to the workload and frustration of employees.
