      Low paying, compared to other institutions. Drama. Inconsistent hiring practices.

      Pros

      There are great retirement benefits, and the staff is always extremely helpful. This is a place that really focuses on student success and engagement.

      Cons

      The college is going through some administrative changes- searching for a new president, and the provost left last semester. The future will see what new initiatives are instilled and what old ones are discontinued.

      Pros

      Ivy Tech has a genuinely caring staff. The hours are great. The school is a busy place but we always lend a helping hand to students as needed

      Cons

      Even though I like what I do there is no advancement. I have applied for two jobs and they hired outside of Ivy Tech. I would think internal would be better.
