Some of the people working in the trenches are good people.

Cons

Leadership is a complete joke. Chancellor has no ability to lead because he's too busy worrying about the small insignificant things. Definitely a good old boys culture, and if you aren't a beautiful woman that's willing to giggle at his jokes you will be sabotaged. Entire cabinet level staff is incompetent and obtained their status as a result of playing the game. Trust me, it's a truly toxic environment.

The work is challenging without being overwhelming, and working in the OIT team here means dealing with a wide range of issues, from networks to classroom and conference technology to event support and more. Higher-ups are fairly lenient on how your schedule can be made and what kinds of projects you want to tackle.
