Pros

Ok salary and benefits for a job that requires very little intelligence.

Cons

Very little time off. 60+ hour work week is the norm. Incompetent account managers running locations and passing on workload to operation supervisors. Technology is at least 20 years behind. Internet connection is slow, softwares are not designed to allow work to be done. Inventory software is garbage. Permission is needed to accomplish the smallest thing. Work is very repetitive.

Pros

The experience and opportunity to gain some useful knowledge of installations for future use. The knowledge from other employees is invaluable.

Cons

They will screw you over paycheck to paycheck. I am still in training and no one has been able to give me a straightforward answer as to how I am getting paid. During orientation it was stated that I would be paid an hourly rate up to 40 hours and anything over 40 would count as overtime and I will get time and a half. Well my first THREE paychecks since orientation have all been very subpar so to speak, I AM NOT being paid my hourly wage as said, they’ve tried to explain it as “we will pay you whichever way makes you the most money” but the last time I checked 63.5 hours in a single week doesn’t add up to an $800 gross pay. If you decide to take this position in McDonough, GA be prepared for this bs. I can’t speak for other places.

Pros

Good company to drive for. Easy job once you learn the railyards and pay system. I average about 1,100 to 1,300 for 5 days and about 10 hours daily. The harder you work the more you make. There is always work. You can work a six day if you want. Sometimes there is a bonus for working a sixth day and get about 120 for showing up on the sixth day and doing 9 hours at least. Dispatch is really friendly and if you need time off you just need to request at least 24 hours prior and it is never denied.

Cons

Activity based pay. You need to learn the pay system to get paid properly.
