Pros

- Work is consistent - Opportunity to work on diverse projects - Coworkers and some management are amazing to work with

Cons

- Antiquated software systems are still used (specifically in the Summit office) from the early 2000s or potentially even before - Still complete reporting from word document templates with errors for find & replace - Management can be robotic, and will not compute that you need to take time off even if a loved one passes away - Even for people who continually work here, work life balance is almost impossible

Pros

JS Held is a medium-sized company with a small-company feel. I’ve found that people are extremely collaborative across disciplines which had proven beneficial for my career development. The compensation and work-life balance are good. There’s is definitely lots of opportunity for growth here.

Cons

The benefits package is simply not competitive. The medical plans are vastly overpriced and PTO offerings mediocre compared to firms of a similar caliber. Additionally, lots of growing pains due to recent acquisitions and integrating them into the JS Held fold.
