      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. Usually challenging work. Flexible schedules, unless you work out in the shop.

      Cons

      Very high stress environment. Seems to be more of a focus on finding fault than praising successes. Had to report several HR issues for inappropriate workplace comments.

      Pros

      The work is usually interesting and it can be a fun place to work sometimes. Pay and benefits are pretty good too.

      Cons

      The upper management types are super cliquey which gets super annoying real quck. Also a lot of the software systems they use are really outdated and/or generally unpleasant to use. All things considered though its a better place to work than most companies of its size from what I hear.

      Pros

      The Director in charge of the shared services center was approachable, provided radical candor, and was nice to work for.

      Cons

      Ridiculous expectations on due dates for month end close coming from the divisions. When I was there, they were looking into senior staff accountants reviewing and signing off on each other's account recs because 1 manager didn't have the time to review the entire (all divisions) reconciliations. Really poor planning on managements part on duties and responsibilities.
