Pros
After some years, first through an agency, then with the company directly, the pay is ok.
Cons
Shop floor employees are taken on through agency and then work this way for an unpredictable amount of time, where I work it's usually about 2-3 years. Agancy is careless, if a problem occurs, agency sends the employee to talk to JCB, they send the employee back to the agency. Initial pay on the contract is low, only grows over several years.
