Pros

- Decent pay compared to other jobs in rural areas such as Uttoxeter. - Quick starts and lots of overtimes (usually) available. - Good work hours (6am to 4pm Monday-Thursday, 6am to 10am Friday). - Makes a great TEMPORARY job.

Cons

- Terrible treatment from management and office staff - dismissive and patronising attitude. - Assembly line staff are mostly terrible too. Especially if you're a woman. Constant sexual advances and harassment, as well as general inappropriate workplace behaviour. - Remote/difficult to get to locations (for non-drivers). - None of the workplace mantras (stop, call, wait) are actually being practiced. Managers are extremely productivity driven, so if you stop the line or put the yellow light on hoping they'll help you get your drill unstuck or something, they'll come there maybe 20 minutes later (if at all), shout at you for calling for help, and turn the light off without fixing the issue first. - None of the benefits (healthcare, discounts, etc.) they promise are actually available. - You'll be given more work for being a good worker, meanwhile people who struggle with easy jobs but are friends with the team leaders will be given less. - Payroll staff unable to keep up. Always having to put in complaints about incorrect pay. - Horrible mandatory holiday system. If you've got a family emergency or any plans outside of the time off that is mandated, good luck! They'll threaten to fire you even if you're a flexible (agency) worker. - Takes forever to get a uniform or any tools that you require to do your job. - Managers will make one announcement at the beginning of the shift, then completely 180 from that plan just a couple hours later without saying anything.
