Pros

Job stability Good growth Upto 10% pension Combined shutdown periods according to plant closure

Cons

Old fashioned thinking led by chairman, No home office allowed (everyone was ordered to return after covid!) Limited flexible working options (start between 7:00-9:30 but must work 8:00 hours every day, no banking hours, some overtime is "expected in staff contract" )

Pros

Competitive salary Some good people here

Cons

No flexibility. You will struggle getting time off for your grandparents funeral. Outdated company values. No flexibility, no flexi-time, fixed holidays, 3 month notice period. You will be sneered at for taking 31 minutes on your 30 minute lunch break. Regular redundancies are made just to excuse them removing anyone they do not like. Lord Bamford is a modern day slave driver.
