Pros

Many convenient store locations Fairly good orientation program Variety of departments to work in Co-workers seemed dedicated to their jobs

Cons

If you aren't working at a cash wrap ringing customers out, the day goes SLOWLY I mean how often can you fold clothes on a table before it drives you mad?? Unpredictable scheduling--I was told during interview that my shift would be a steady early morning one to put stock out on the salesfloor. However I was primarily working late nights until 9 or 10. When I brought this to management's attention they fluffed me off saying it would come "in time." I left after a month.

Pros

Very good people. Very good conversations with co-works. Good for learning the ropes if you want to develop yourself in a retail field. Great hype in the morning.

Cons

Lack of management support. Morale can use some improvement. Need more training sessions. More "fun" events. Need more support to employee who are leaving to other places

Pros

- Wonderful management - Really work with your schedule - Your co-workers become your best friends - Associate Discount - Great experience to put on your resume - They're open to suggestions to making their company/customers happier - Sometimes gives you coupons for doing great work.

Cons

- Not many hours - Minimum Wage - Customers aren't considerate and sometimes rude - Can be overwhelming at times - Also, can be the same old thing over and over again - They really try to push you to make people get a JCPenney card account
