Pros

The work-life balance is great. You are never expected to work past your scheduled hours, and you are encouraged to take time off. The culture is one of friendly collaboration. You are never afraid to ask a question. When mistakes are made, they are handled as a learning opportunity rather than something that you should feel guilty about. Small teams.

Cons

Severe lack of documentation of any sort, reducing the velocity of your work. Lack of knowledge (old components that haven't been touched), adding pressure and stress to your job. Somewhat low pay, doesn't leave room for professional development in your free time. Stingy with their training reimbursements. Despite desiring developers to train and upskill, they don't seem to want to pay for it, even though they have a program dedicated for it. Working with legacy tech, on hard maintenance issues, little room to grow and explore. Not great for early career developers not looking to stagnate.
