Pros

I've been working for J.D. Power for 5+ years. There has been a ton of change, and some of it's been hard but it's moving us forward. The company has evolved from a market research company to a leader in data and analytics for various areas in mostly automotive-related industries. The company used to be all about butts in seats, but now they've embraced working from home even post COVID. So we all have a lot of flexibility when it comes to how and when we work. Also, additional paid holidays have been scheduled, and Focus Fridays are awesome because there are hardly any meetings on Friday which allows for project work. Also, the people are pretty great. A lot of collaboration (not everywhere and everyone but most!).

Cons

The Great Reshuffle is creating pressure for some teams.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about working for J.D. Power for the past 5+ years. Change is not easy for everyone; however, our Corporate Values clearly state, “we strive to be Truth Finders, Change Makers and Team Driven.” It’s refreshing to know you enjoy our culture! We agree that our people are great and take pride in supporting our teams with the flexibility, additional paid time off and opportunity to focus that you’ve described. -J.D. Power
