Pros

The companies CEO, all of the management, and even down to "grunt" level employees are all motivate and do everything to make this company much better than it's competitors. *Great compensation (115k a year for senior support engineer) *90% paid medical/dental/vision *Stock options *Startup company with lots of funding *Several company paid events per year

Cons

*Can't work from home!! (Who doesn't allow this in today's day and age?!?!?!) *Work-life balance is very tough, it requires a lot of hours *Very small office for the amount of people in it, although there are plans to move

Pros

JFrog is an amazing place to work… until you get fired. You’ll love the fast paced culture, endless projects, and constant pressure to perform, because that’s exactly what keeps you on your toes. Who needs job security when you can experience the thrill of waiting for your next performance review to find out if today’s the day you’re out? Honestly, the work environment is perfect for anyone who loves the excitement of being one step away from a meeting that starts with, "We need to talk." Stay long enough and you’ll definitely get a “thanks for your time” email, if you're lucky, they'll even invite you to a farewell meeting! Highly recommend if you're into living on the edge of career instability.

Cons

Job security: They say nothing’s guaranteed in life except death and taxes… and at JFrog, apparently that includes a constant threat of being "optimized." (You’ll be highly optimized right out the door, though.) Meetings, meetings, and more meetings: The "open-door policy" means you'll be pulled into another meeting at any given moment to discuss things that could’ve been solved by a quick Slack message. But hey, at least you’ll be really good at pretending you’re listening by the 50th meeting of the week. Work-life balance?: More like work-life "overlap" — your laptop’s pretty much attached to your body. Don’t worry, it’s so flexible that you can work from anywhere, including your bed at 10 p.m. Career growth: They say “growth opportunities” are endless… just as long as you consider getting your LinkedIn profile ready for the next gig. Office perks: Free snacks, because nothing says “we care about you” like handing you a granola bar while you silently contemplate your career choices.
