      Troubling Trends at Jaguar Land Rover

      Pros

      Still makes a good product. Growing market share.

      Cons

      I've seen some troubling changes the past few months at JLR. A significant number of managers have either been fired or demoted to lesser roles. A lot of experienced, dedicated, people have been tossed aside like garbage. To see this many people treated so poorly makes me question my future with this company. Sadly, the company I respected so much is no different than any of the other ruthless organizations who treat you like a number. Huge letdown.

      Great products and potential due to the huge investment by Tata.

      Cons

      At some point the job market will open and good evmployees will leave.They manage by fear. Most employees just keep their heads down . Just a job, no longer a career for most.

      Current and future products are exciting, beautiful building to work in, employees are great people, pay is aligned with other companies.

      Cons

      Expected to work 24/7, hostile work environment, not in touch with needs / wants of the customer, only concerned about the companies bottom line
