Pros

- You can find dedicated people here, who are intelligent, competent, and will work late and on weekends to get the job done. You can find them at every level, from the assembly line worker to the VP levels. - Jabil is a very data driven company. To influence decision makers, you must have a firm grasp on the numbers, and the underlying concepts that drive them. - Jabil is not afraid to try new things, and is making strides to be an innovator in its sector.

Cons

- The ethics of this company are low. Lying to customers and partners is almost built into the company's guidelines. - There is a pervasive culture of sexism and sexual harassment. I have witnessed it on several occasions, and feel ashamed I did not speak up about it. - There is a pervasive culture of racism. For instance, I have heard the n-word on several occasions with no shame; feel ashamed I did not speak up. There are clear advancement ceilings for various groups. - Despite the data-driven nature of the company, there is an ironic anti-intellectualism there. In Silicon Valley, no less, one of my managers told me noone cared about my graduate degrees . Fortunately, for most companies in the Valley, having higher education is considered a credit to the firm.

Pros

I would say that the only pro is the company parties and Friday evening get-togethers.

Cons

It is like working in a sweatshop. The managers are clueless and the place is full of no talent people

Pros

-Casual dress standards. - Free donuts on Friday in the office, but those are provided by a vendor, not Jabil. - On site gym.

Cons

-Pay is low compared to similar jobs at most other companies, and Jabil doesn't have a particularly glamorous working environment to make up for it. - Constrained market conditions for buyers. - Conflicting advice, lack of support, and poor communication from management - Poor training. In addition, many of my coworkers were criticized for something they had done before they received training (on a new program, or procedure for example) - Many long-term employees that had worked there for a while were clearly angry individuals. - Long working hours are often required to play catch up. - Opinions and politics matter more than actual statistical and mathematical inferences. - This place will break you down. With many people I worked with, I saw a change in their eyes and happiness after starting to work there.
