Pros

If you are willing to do the work, it is a company where you can really make a difference. The leadership team has become more professional and more diverse. The VP of I.T. is a woman, the C.M.O. is African-American, the VP of Product development is Latin American. The company culture is informal, but can be intense. It is not for everyone. There is tons of humor and fun, but there is also a focus on results and improvement.

Cons

Lack some of the management disciplines that an organization this size usually has.

Pros

Fast growing company of 3,500 world wide. My work load has improved greatly since I started with the company 6 years ago, as they hired additional staff. The company had a few years of declining growth, but now they are growing again. Company has average benefits and a bonus program. I enjoy the people I work with...very hard working and fun IT department. Most of the IT staff are located in downtown Minneapolis and just a few left at the Corporate HQ in Minong, WI. I do have to travel to Minneapolis about every other month and to plant locations occasionally. I have been involved with a variety of projects and have learned a lot . On Call rotation for engineers, but it's not very often.

Cons

Because the company grew so fast, a lot of processes or procedures are not in place...in IT and throughout the company. Fast paced company may not be for everyone. Only six paid Holidays. Communication is improving but needs to continue to improve. Some periods of high turnover at times.

Pros

Consumer goods/food industry is an interesting business if you have never ventured in that direction.

Cons

Products are good but overpriced. Competitors products are as good it better. The Link Boys are terrible. In an instant they'll dump you if you don't agree with them. Bad place for women to work.
