Pros

Excellent Firm with a high degree of integrity. Management of the Firm is in tune with trying to balance work/life issues. I have read some of the the more negative reviews and wonder if the reviews were written by disgruntled employees because in the more than 10 years that I have been with the Firm, I have not observed some of the things mentioned.

Cons

Because the collegiality of the Firm is so strong, some under-performing employees are not addressed as fast they maybe they should be. However, that is unique to this Firm as I believe every Firm has a few under-performing employees.

The Good Outweigh the Bad

Pros

Staff are intelligent and know what to do without being micro-managed. Attorneys take their work very serious and strive for client satisfaction. When there is time to interact, the people are amazingly good people. Work comes first.

Cons

Pay (for staff), staff morale is low despite how much admin try to bring it up, moody attorneys (like all law firms). Definite split between attorneys and staff-very little interaction unless work related makes some staff feel unappreciated and very much that there is a class system (snooty attorneys). Female attorneys with families that want to work part-time may not find the hustle/bustle and billing requirements flexible. Technology is antiquated and slows down work productivity.
