Pros

There is convenient location and friendly staff. It is a good place to start after college where you can get a feel of corporate culture and office environment.

Cons

Lack of quality training, no opportunity to grow. The most attorneys treat staff as a lower class - servants. Elitism is developed.

Flexible as far as work life balance, and the people were nice for the most part.

Cons

There is no loyalty in this firm. I would never choose them before choosing anything else. Everyone is easily disposable.

Competitive salary, nice office, well-known firm.

Cons

Poor management, rude principals, favoritism, lack of caseload structure. Associates are paired with up to 14 different partners with differing expectations, styles, work hours, management styles, etc. Some partners are just plain toxic, with zero respect for associates and staff alike. Micromanagement is at an all-time high in comparison to similar firms. If you’re not a partner, you’re treated like a first year regardless of experience. Dog eat dog culture. You’re better off taking a lower salary and maintaining your sanity and dignity.
