Pros

Lots of opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects due to large size and being a major player in many of the different sectors. Good opportunity to get involved in their networks and potential to meet lots of people. Good teams environment (dependent on the team) and interesting people with deep technical expertise as well as project management skills.

Cons

Salary is quite average and often at times, the transition between new positions does not come with an appropriate pay rise. Given the large structure of Jacobs and their main base being in the US, the opportunity to progress in Australia vs the US is much slower. Large employee base can sometimes result in certain employees being hidden in all the noise. Certain employees may be fast-tracked whilst others might become left in the background.
