      How can you be realistically 100% chargeable at all times.

      Pros

      Had some very large and interesting jobs. Alot of very hard mid-level staff.

      Cons

      Cheap - when I worked for them in the mid 90's - we had a computer room! You had to sign up to use a computer! How ridiculous is that? For scientific work. Very old furniture from the 1970's. Too cheap to upgrade. Staff had to share very small offices - 2 or 3 people each. IF you were not 100% chargeable you went home without pay! Management kept too much to themselves and allowed very poor project management to go rampant. Too many layers of management. Program Managers basically did nothing. One of them watched TV in his office all day!

      I agree with the other commentor that there needs to be better standards for the degrees and qualifications of top management.. Some business experience would help too. This company makes you feel like you are selling widgets instead of high level professional services.

      Learned a lot but stayed in the same position for six years.

      Some good engineers at the senior staff level.

      Cons

      Only 6 holidays, 8 hours each per year. Very little paid time off , vacation time is combined with sick time and snow days, doctor visits etc. Workers work extra hours to take black Friday off, or any additional holiday weekends. Never a bonus. Billability is the only thing management is interested in. Management does not recognize technical talent. Corporate Motto "Beyond Zero" is to minimize law suits, not because they are a "culture of caring".
